It's a no-brainer for fans of the original, while any action fan on PS4 should get a kick out of this high-flying adventure. The game is in Japanese with English subtitles, which not everyone will like, and as previously mentioned, you can't skip through sometimes painful dialogue screens. While an A-quality game, there are a few issues they include a steep learning curve while you're mastering controlled flight and some less-than-forgiving camera angles you might struggle with (especially in tighter spaces). Kudos to the art department for bringing this fantasy game to life. From its manga-inspired characters and watercolors to huge set pieces, the game is a real looker. This is a welcomed addition for gameplay, along with more mission types, ranging from stealthy detective work and treasure hunts to helping friends complete tasks and big boss battles. The level of detail system maintains structural detail well but objects. I finish the base game because I love the art direction. Gravity Rush 2 is a busy game with a huge number of disparate objects flying around the scene at any one time. I mean, you have one of the most amazing scenarios and powers, literally the sky is the limit, and most of the missions are dreadly scort missions, boring one dimensional combat and photo missions. Along with the original, there's also Lunar, which lets Kat jump higher and increase her speed, while Jupiter style weighs down Kat, which adds some extra power to her attacks. It boggles my mind how bad are most of the missions. New to this sequel are additional gravity styles to master. But really, mastering the flying mechanic is what Gravity Rush 2 is all about, and it's a rush indeed. Controlling gravity to propel Kat around makes up much of the gameplay - especially as you're limited in energy while in the air - plus there are many dozens of missions to take on (about 20 main objections and 40-odd side quests), various enemies to fight in the air or on the ground, and an interesting story to unravel (highlighted by memorable characters, but you can't skip through many dial sequences). Hosted by 44 Bytes.Wacky, attractive, and fun are the first three words that come to mind after loading this game that lets you jump, fly, and soar around fantastic worlds. The topsy turvy, gravity bending world of Gravity Rush made such a unique game Did you ever play it Goose. © 2022 Hookshot Media, partner of ReedPop. And ironically Days Gone didn't even perform that much better than it all told and adjusted for Go back to Xbox, troll And even more saddening watching the E3 year they presented Days Gone TWICE forever and ever, and sandwitched GR2 as barely a mention at all. It's depressing how badly Sony treated and marketed this. Not it's most commercially successful, but its finest as creators. There are no words to describe how saddening it is that we won't see more of this world. They were among the first things I re-played on my PS5, and I was just as delighted by them again as the first time. And so many supposedly great blockbusters don't really register in my memory at all.Īnd to boot, they hold up, and it's not just rose colored nostalgia. Mechanically, thematically, or narratively they may not be as exceptional as some big blockbusters out there, but when I look back at the past 10 years of games, these two always pop into my head with a big smile at the top. It oozes charm, is just fun to play, the characters, world, and story are a joy, condenses an open world from being too much bloat, and had the soul of a French film. These games are probably 2 of my top 15 games of the past decade of gaming.
